Located in North Texas and a major city in the southwestern United States, Dallas is the third largest city of the state and the ninth largest in the United States. Beauty services are regulated in the state of Texas by licensing. The responsibility of issuing licenses is vested with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. For barber license the minimum hours of training required is 1500 hours from an approved barber school. The minimum age stipulated for the applicants is sixteen years.
